The third day of international cycling race Tour of Croatia was scheduled for the longest route of this year’s race. The 237 km long route is connecting the cities of Imotski and Zadar. The competitors were challenged not only by the lenght of the route but also by strong wind that was distracting them the whole time. The bad weather and challenging route caused many difficulties and proved to be challenging even for the so far leading competitors. Kristian Đurasek, who started the race as the winner of the previous stage and also the first name in the general classification leaderboard crashed near Sukošan, 45 km before the end of the route. Even though he finnished the third stage, his participation in tomorrows race is questionable.

The winner of the third stage is Nicola Ruffoni. You can read more about his victory and see the full results of today’s race on the following link:  http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/tour-of-croatia-2017/stage-3/results/
